Instructions for Authors

The TRANSCOM 2023 conference proceedings will be published in Transportation Research Procedia, we kindly ask you to follow the instructions provided by Elsevier. All submitted papers will be checked for compliance with the main conference topic – Transportation, the templates and instructions provided; failing to do so may result in the rejection of your article.

Please, read carefully and follow the instructions for authors provided by Elsevier and use only the TRANSCOM 2023 template.

Each paper shall consist of a minimum of Four (4) pages and a maximum of Eight (8) pages, including the paper title, authors and affiliations, figures and references.

When you have completed the final version of your paper, please upload it into the TRANSCOM 2023 conference system, following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the system using your username and password.
  2. Fill out the form to register your paper (menu items „Author“ and „Register paper“) 

  3. Browse to your papers (menu item „My papers") and go to edit mode for the given paper („update").
  4. When the edit form is opened, select your file and then press the UPLOAD button and wait until the upload finishes (this will send your file to the server).
  5. Save your changes. 

The publication of submitted papers in the proceedings is subject to their presentation at the conference. The papers cannot be published without a conference presentation.

The conference fee includes the publication of one conference paper and access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, catering and social evening for one person.

A fee of 90 € per one additional paper will be charged if an author wishes to publish more than one paper.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
 

 Registration fees can be paid only after the acceptance of the paper. At least one author of each accepted paper must register at the full fee on or before 20 April 2023.

THE LENGTH OF ORAL PRESENTATIONS IS LIMITED UP TO 10 MINUTES (NO EXCEPTIONS)
 
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PRESENTATION (PPT):
  1. Title slide – Name of the presenter, title of the paper, author(s), Name(s), affiliation.
  2. Introduction - Provide a general/theoretical introduction to the topic of your research.
  3. Motivation - Explain the motivation for research and the need for research on this particular topic. Describe the objective(s) of the research.
  4. Methods - Describe methods, mathematical models, simulation models, and materials (if used) employed in the research.
  5. Results - research results with comments and recommendations.
  6. Conclusions - Summarize the conclusions of the research, impact, and potential areas of further research in this field.
  7. „Thank you“ slide - Provide contact details of corresponding authors and acknowledgements, if it is needed.
