INSTRUCTION FOR authors
Since the TRANSCOM 2025 conference proceedings will be published in Transportation Research Procedia, we kindly ask you to follow the instructions provided by Elsevier.
All submitted papers will be checked for compliance with the main conference topic – Transportation, the templates and instructions provided; failing to do so may result in the rejection of your article.
Please, read carefully and follow the Instructions for authors provided by Elsevier and use only the TRANSCOM 2025 paper template:
TRANSCOM 2025 LaTeX template (.zip)
The paper could be from 4 to 6 full pages, including the title, authors and affiliations, figures and references.
When you have completed the final version of your paper, please upload it into the TRANSCOM 2025 conference system, following the steps below:
- Sign in/ register into the system. If you do not have or do not remember your passoword, please use the option "I have forgotten my password / I do not have a password yet".
- Menu item "Submit paper" Fill the Step 1: Article information and click "Save"
- Then continue with Step 2: Authors (if there are any other authors):
- Then click the "Next" and in the Step 3: Paperupload
- Step 4: Paper submission. Please check the information carefully and confirm it by clicking on: "Submit paper"
- All your articles are in the section "My articles", and it is possible to upload a new version of the paper, edit and also withdraw the article.

To ensure high quality of published papers, all full papers of the conference will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The authors will be requested to respect reviewers’ comments and submit the final version of their papers. The conference program will be published after the final submission of accepted papers.
Please note that the publication of submitted papers in the proceedings is subject to their presentation at the conference. The papers cannot be published without a conference presentation and upload the poster to the conference system.
Selected papers, after their extension and innovation, will be recommended for publishing in scientific journals indexed by Web of Science. This information will be updated continuously.
Attention authors: Please note that uploading new versions of your article is not permitted while the review process is in progress. An email will notify the author once the review is complete. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
INSTRUCTION FOR POSTER SUBMISSION
Due to the preparation of the Poster Proceedings it is necessary to upload the posters of all accepted papers into the system by the deadline: of 14 April 2025.
- The recomended contents of the poster: POSTER CONTENT
- Recommended size: A0 format (841 x 1189 mm / 33.1 x 46.8 inches)
- Orientation: vertical
- Format: pptx or pdf.
- Submission of the poster to the conference system: it is possible after the acceptance of the paper. In: „My articles“ there is: „Upload presentation/poster“. For TRANSCOM 2025 is necessary to upload only the poster, there is no need to upload the presentation to the conference system.
guidelines for presenters
PARALLEL SESSION: The length of oral presentations is limited up to 10 minutes (no exceptions). It is not necessary to upload the presentation to the conference system, just bring it on a portable medium in advance of your session. There are some recommendations for the presentation (PPT, no template):
- Title slide – Name of the presenter, title of the paper, author(s), Name(s), affiliation.
- Introduction - Provide a general/theoretical introduction to the topic of your research.
- Motivation - Explain the motivation for research and the need for research on this particular topic. Describe the objective(s) of the research.
- Methods - Describe methods, mathematical models, simulation models, and materials (if used) employed in the research.
- Results - research results with comments and recommendations.
- Conclusions - Summarize the conclusions of the research, impact, and potential areas of further research in this field.
- "Thank you“ slide - Provide contact details of corresponding authors and acknowledgements, if it is needed.
POSTER SESSION: Presenters are required to bring a printed poster of their paper in A0 size (e-version of the poster should be uploaded in the conference system). Printing services will not be available at the conference venue. Each poster presenter is responsible for printing their poster and bringing it to the conference. There are some instructions for the poster presenters:
- Banner stands with the board number (via conference program) and push pins will be provided.
- Presenters must ensure their posters are hung at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
- The chairperson will introduce the presenter of the poster.
- During the session, presenters are expected to remain at their poster board to share their research with attendees. Posters should be taken down within two hours after the session concludes.
- Any posters not removed after this time will be discarded.
- All co-authors attending the session must be registered for the conference. Co-authors are welcome to join the presenter during the poster session to help answer questions.
- Attendees should be given priority for space on the poster board.
